Atypical hyperplasia of the breast
Atypical hyperplasia describes a growth of abnormal cells in a breast duct (atypical ductal hyperplasia) or lobule (atypical lobular hyperplasia). Atypical hyperplasia is not cancer. Atypical hyperplasia can possibly be an indication for the development of breast cancer.
