HELIOS Hospital Berlin-Buch
Our new Hospital, the HELIOS Hospital Berlin-Buch, is all set after three years of construction. In the Schwanebecker Chaussee 50 we have a highly modern Hospital of maximum care, which combines high-performance medicine with an outstanding comfort and ambience. Warm colours and a lot of glass provide you with a comfortable atmosphere. Through the courtyards a lot of daylight reaches through the windows. The main entrance and the atriums resemble a hotel lobby. The new Hospital complex reflects the already existing and landmarked hospital environment of Ludwig Hoffmann.
200 million were invested in the new building, thereof 35 million euros in modern medical techniques. The radiologists dispose of three magnetic resonance tomographies, three computerized tomographies, a digital mammography instrument as well as new radiological – and radioscopy devices. The clinic for nuclear medicine can implement a highly modern PET-CT, the anaesthetists and physicians for intensive care dispose of narcosis-, respiratory-, and monitoring devices of the newest generation.
In the entrance area of the HELIOS Hospital Berlin-Buch you can find little shops such as a book store, a pharmacy, a hairdresser and cosmetic shop, a florist and an orthopaedic technologist.
The cafeteria offers a comprehensive choice, which you can enjoy on the big terrace during the warm summer months.
