The HELIOS Hospital Borna is a traditional teaching hospital of the of the traditional and internationally renowned University of Leipzig. Around 24.000 patients are treated annually by eleven medical departments.

As a secondary care institution the hospital serves patients in the region and beyond by providing comprehensive high-end medical treatment in all common disciplines. Furthermore, the HELIOS Hospital Borna, offers special medical treatment in 9 centers of excellence. Among those Obstetrics is one of its core competencies.
